When Romans were invited to visit this amazing property, local knowledge meant that we knew we would be arriving at a house with one of the most distinctive front doors you’re ever likely to see. We had admired it many times in passing.
What we didn’t expect was for it to be so large up close, or to pivot on hinges at the top and bottom as it majestically swung open.
It was like being welcomed into an exhibit rather than a house. And that was only the beginning.
Walking through is akin to taking a stroll through an immersive art gallery. The house makes you smile with its interior design. Vibrant colours delight, varying textures make you want to touch it, the vibe makes you feel like you never want to leave.
Touches like the invisible induction worktop in the kitchen highlight the attention to detail here. There are many more too numerous to mention: to take it all in, you’ve got to visit. Estate agents so often describe houses as “must see”, you will realise how easily this term is thrown around once you’ve viewed this one.
